profile

In 2006, I completed a major in Communication Studies (specializing in digital media production), with a minor in Art History + Studio Art, from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.

In 2006-2007, I completed a Graduate Diploma in Community Economic Development (CED) with the School of Community and Public Affairs (SCPA) at Concordia University.

In the spring of 2007, I worked with two other young adults to coordinate a conference on Community Economic Development and Youth, held in February at Concordia. For this, I constructed a website, created posters, logos, presentations and more.

My current side project is with a group of dedicated young individuals, developing a non-profit reforestation initiative with rural communities in Nicaragua, called Taking Root / EnRacine.

I worked from 2006-2007 at Studio XX (a feminist, artist-run, new media production centre) as the webmaster.

Since 2007 I have worked for the International Council of Graphic Design Associations (Icograda), and also with the International Council of Societies of Industrial design (Icsid) from 2008-2010, as the Online Communications Officer.
